Fall of Atlantis Fountain Show – If all shopping malls had special effects and fireballs, there’d be a lot fewer bored husbands in the world. The Fall of Atlantis show inside the Forum Shops at Caesars is an animatronic display of fire, water and nine-foot-tall talking statues. The story is set in the kingdom of Atlantis, when King Atlas has to decide which of his kids will rule the throne. Your sibling rivalry doesn’t even come close to these two fit-throwers. Sure, you may have fought over toys, food or even listened in on each other’s phone calls, but this feud is pretty fierce. In the end, the family learns the ultimate lesson when their godly kingdom falls below the ocean’s depths. The costumes and props were created by the same team who worked on Thor and Pirates of the Caribbean and there’s also a 20-foot winged dragon. Let’s be honest, you just don’t see that every day. Fountains of Bellagio – While you may think choreographed routines are limited to showgirls and stage performances, the Fountains of Bellagio gyrate just as fabulously as the rest of our top-notch performers. High Roller Observation Wheel – The High Roller in Las Vegas isn’t your average Ferris wheel. THE AdventureDome – We’re not going to bore you with a bunch of lists on what you can ride, eat, or win at the Adventuredome in Circus Circus. All you need to know is that this indoor theme park is hopped up on Vegas-style steroids. The Mob Museum – The Mob Museum is an interactive attraction showcasing the history of these famed gangsters. Here you’ll get an inside look at organized crime’s impact not only in Las Vegas, but its influence in America and the world. One of the key exhibits is the actual courtroom used in the Kefauver hearings, the first mob-related event to be televised. The museum is located inside the former federal courthouse where the 1950-51 Kefauver Committee hearings were held. The Kefauver Committee investigation contributed to the national debate on organized crime that developed after World War II. The Neon Museum Las Vegas – When tourists think of Las Vegas, naturally their memories flash back to its glittering lights. In addition, their first impression of the city often comes from the world’s most famous neon attraction. Designed by Betty Willis, the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada” sign has been greeting visitors at the southern end of the Strip since 1959. Neon signs, introduced in Las Vegas in 1929 at the Oasis Café on Fremont Street, enjoyed their heyday between the 1930s – 1980s. But as LED and LCD screens began taking over the Las Vegas Strip, many of the old signs were removed. The Allied Arts Council and Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO), the manufacturer responsible for creating many of the city’s neon pieces, began collecting and preserving the old signs. The Neon Museum was officially established in 1996 and opened in its current location on Las Vegas Boulevard in downtown Las Vegas in 2012. . About 30 percent of the Neon Museum’s collection originated from signs provided by YESCO, and items from newly imploded or remodeled properties or other private businesses are often donated to the permanent collection. Experts at the museum then assess donated signs for conservation and display
